I love a good ghost story and this book had everything it needed to be just
We are introduced to Brylee who has just made a cross country move with
her family. It’s tough to move in the middle of high school, but things are
supposed to be getting better. Brylee’s dad has found a new job and this big change should make her family life a lot less stressful.
Her new house seems really creepy. After meeting a few people
that either refer to the house as “haunted” or “cursed”, she really begins to
wonder. She begins hearing strange noises at night and doors seem to be opening and closing on their own. Little does she know, this is just
I loved this book to the very last page. Sloat did a
wonderful job of building a good story with a bunch of suspense. I found myself
literally yelling at Brylee throughout the book. I look forward to reading the
next one and will be impatiently waiting for it to come out!
