Review of Project ELE by Rebecca Gober and Courtney Nuckels

Well I definitely did not get much sleep last night. Wondering why? It’s because I could not stop reading Project ELE! This book was absolutely amazing and definitely a must read for anyone that likes a good book.

Co-authors Rebecca Gober and Courtney Nuckles wasted no time at all getting my hooked. Within 20 minutes of reading, I was already reaching for the tissues.

Project ELE is an apocolyptic book that introduces us to 15 year-old Willow Mosby. There has been an outbreak of a virus that is killing off the human race and the only way to eliminate it is by heating up the earth to unbearable conditions. They have set up shelters for the healthy to stay during this process, so this will be Willow’s new home. She leads a rather boring existence at first, but soon she is able to make friends and even find love.

The new rules she has to abide by are pretty strict, but once she settles into a routine of work and school she is able to make some time for fun and adventures.

After being in the shelter for awhile, strange things begin to happen. Is this only happening to her? Why isn’t it happening to everyone? And just what exactly is up with her eye? How is she going to handle it if outsiders start to notice? Willow has a lot ahead of her, will she be able to survive it?

I would say out of 5 stars, I would give Project ELE atleast 10. I laughed, I cried, I got angry, I was basically on an emotional roller coaster for the duration of the book. Once I got to the last page, all I wanted was more. Rebecca and Courtney leave you with a cliffhanger for sure. I will definitely be following up with the sequel later this year to find out what happens.

Here are the links to go purchase this awesomely-amazing-can’t put it down for anything book. Seriously. You have got to read this book!

And as always, if you read it leave a review for the authors!
